Founder/Educator
With over 40 years in Cosmetology Education, Kathy has trained thousands of students, built cosmetology education programs from the ground up, & helped elevate the standards of beauty education. She has worked with High School, Community College & Private Colleges students.
Kathy’s mission is to empower future beauty professionals through elevated education, mentorship, & real-world business training within a luxury, wellness-centered environment. She is known for her leadership, innovation, & unwavering commitment to student success. Kathy holds multiple awards, certificates, honors, professional licenses, academic certificates & professional recognition, reflecting her deep-rooted expertise & respected reputation.
Collective ACADEMY was created from her vision: a modern, welcoming, elevated spa‑inspired academy where students feel supported, encouraged & empowered to build meaningful careers. All the team members’ backgrounds are rooted in professionalism, genuine love for helping others & will shape every part of the Collective SKIN & NAIL ACADEMY.

Collective Academy is not responsible for lost or damaged kit items after we issue the kits.
Additional supplies required for class or State Board preparation: Collective Academy will be offering a state board kit when 80% of the hours are completed for an optional cost.
All fees are disclosed prior to enrollment and outlined in the Enrollment Agreement/Contract.
Cancellation Policy:

All cancellations must be submitted via email at least 30 days prior to the start of class to receive a refund on a deposit. No exceptions.

If the student attends class the first day, the deposit is not returned.
The State Board exam costs $168 (for the 2 exams) and is paid directly to the testing company, Prov.
The licensing fee is payable to the NC State Board of Cosmetic Art Examiners after passing of both exams.
These fees are not included in tuition.
