MEET OUR FOUNDER
Kathy S. Nash
Founder & Executive Director
Collective SKIN & NAIL ACADEMY is a beauty school in Salisbury, NC, founded by Kathy Nash after more than four decades in beauty education. Her career has been dedicated to educating, mentoring, and preparing future beauty professionals.
Her experience spans private beauty schools, high school programs, and community college education, where she has taught students, developed programs, led educational teams, and helped thousands of future professionals prepare for careers in the beauty industry.
Over the years, Kathy’s experience has reinforced one belief: students learn best when they feel supported, respected, challenged, and genuinely cared about.
That belief became the foundation for Collective SKIN & NAIL ACADEMY.
Collective was created from Kathy’s vision for a different kind of beauty school, a modern, spa-inspired learning environment where elevated education, hands on experience, mentorship, wellness, professionalism, and career preparation come together.
Her goal isn’t simply to help students complete a program. It is to help them develop the knowledge, technical skill, confidence, professionalism, and purpose they can carry into the next chapter of their careers.
