Here’s What You’ll Need
Starting beauty school doesn’t have to feel complicated. Our Admissions Team is here to guide you through each step of the process.
1. COME MEET US
Schedule an Admissions Interview and campus tour to experience Collective for yourself.
Explore the Academy, see our classrooms and Learning Labs, meet our team, ask questions, and learn more about the program you’re interested in.
2. SUBMIT YOUR APPLICATION
Complete your Collective SKIN & NAIL ACADEMY student application.
Applicants ages 15 and older may apply.
3. PROVIDE YOUR DOCUMENTS
You’ll need:
Government-issued identification
• Social Security card
• Any additional enrollment documentation requested by Admissions
4. PAY YOUR APPLICATION/REGISTRATION FEE
A $100 non-refundable Application/Registration Fee is required when you apply.
5. CONFIRM YOUR PROGRAM & START DATE
We’ll review upcoming class start dates and availability with you and confirm the program and class start that works for you.
6. SECURE YOUR PLACE
Submit your required enrollment deposit before contract signing to reserve your place in class.
Esthetics Enrollment Deposit: $1,900
Nail Technology Enrollment Deposit: $900
7. CHOOSE YOUR PAYMENT SCHEDULE
Choose an available monthly or bi-weekly tuition payment option that works best for you.

We’ll help you understand your uniform requirements, technology, supplies, class schedule, and what to expect when classes begin.

WHAT WILL I NEED FOR SCHOOL?
STUDENT UNIFORM
Collective students are expected to maintain a clean, professional appearance while attending the Academy.
Student uniform requirements include:
• Collective SKIN & NAIL ACADEMY branded T-shirt or uniform top in Sage or Blush
• Black uniform pants
• Approved black closed-toe shoes or sneakers
• White lab coat
• Academy name tag worn on the right side, with the student’s name and program designation: ESTHETICS or NAIL TECH
One branded Academy T-shirt is included with tuition. Additional Academy apparel may be available for purchase.
Students will receive complete uniform and dress-code information during the admissions and enrollment process.
TECHNOLOGY
Technology is incorporated into the Collective learning experience to support classroom instruction, theory education, and access to digital learning resources.
Students should have access to and bring to class one of the following:
• Laptop
• Tablet
Students receive Pivot Point Online Learning Access as part of their program and will use technology to access applicable educational materials and online-supported curriculum components.
HOW YOU’LL LEARN
Theory Meets Hands-On Education
Our programs follow North Carolina required instructional hours and approved curriculum requirements while combining theory-based education with comprehensive hands-on learning and practical application.
Collective utilizes Pivot Point curriculum, including both textbook and online learning resources, along with hands-on education designed to help students connect what they learn in theory with what they perform in practice.
As students progress through the curriculum, they practice learned procedures with classmates and, when appropriate, members of the public under the direct supervision of licensed educators.
